We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to deliver projects for our Federal and Commercial clients in various business sectors and highly regulated environments. Our clients use traditional project management and agile methodologies, while we prefer using Agile whenever possible. This position can be based anywhere physically within the United States that has convenient access to a major airport. This position may require periodic travel (up to 20%) for client meetings, conferences, and work assignments. The candidate must be a US Citizen and is subject to a background check and unannounced drug testing requirements. DOE or DOD experience is preferred and a Q clearance is preferred (Ability to obtain clearance required.)
Job Duties:

Determine necessary project artifacts with Client and C2 Subject Matter Expert

Develop project artifacts independently with minimal oversight

Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Azure DevOps

Create a sound project management approach that best fits the client needs

Define project schedules, team member allocation and monitor progress of the project per direction of the client

Deliver projects that offer outstanding business value to the clients and their users
-
Promote team empowerment through team-building techniques, ensuring each team member is making a meaningful contribution and fully engaged in the project

Identify opportunities to add personnel to the contract, create job requisitions for said opportunities, conduct interviews of prospective personnel prior to presenting candidate to the client, walk candidate through the interview and hiring process, introduce candidate to C2 and client staff

Ensure the protection and non-disclosure of C2 Labs’ and customer’s intellectual property to third parties

Manage project issues, priorities, escalation of issues, and resolution in an Agile manner
Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certification:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Additional experience with technical certifications may be substituted in lieu of education/degree

5+ years of Program Management experience for Federal customers or large enterprises

Active Project Management Qualification (PMP) Certification, ITIL or ITSM certification preferred

Theoretical and practical project management knowledge

Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end users

Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management

Ability to work independently, under consultative direction only, and in a team environment

Ability to socialize ideas and influence decisions without direct authority

Collaborative, customer service-oriented personality, with a strong desire to dig in and learn independently

Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing

Excellent troubleshooting, reasoning, design, and risk assessment skills

Proven ability to present ideas effectively to both individuals and groups

Must be a US Citizen capable of passing a background check and random drug testing
